Frequently asked questions
Does it need a special power supply?
The eCham home, smart and now run on a standard 230 V / 16 A socket. The pure, flow and max need a three-phase 400 V supply.
Does it need liquid nitrogen?
No. Every chamber is 100% electric with natural refrigerants. There is no nitrogen to buy or store.
How long is a session?
Three minutes, with three selectable temperature levels: −70, −90 and down to −110 °C.
Is it suitable for everyone?
No. Training includes written exclusion criteria, for example certain pre-existing conditions, pregnancy or acute symptoms. Each user discusses suitability with their own physician.
Do we need specialist staff?
No. Trained staff run it alongside their regular work: they accompany the entry, start the session and stay nearby with visual contact. Handover includes hands-on training in operation, safety and cleaning.
How much space does it need?
Around 6 m² for the chamber, the access area and a short preparation zone. You need a level floor that carries 400 to 600 kg depending on the model, sufficient ceiling height, a clear delivery route and good ventilation. We confirm the exact requirements per model before ordering.
Is it noisy?
The compressors are audible while running. In spas we place it away from relaxation zones and, if needed, house the technical unit separately.
What maintenance does it need?
Daily cleaning and a visual check, plus regular technical maintenance to the manufacturer's schedule, matched to your throughput. Maintenance intervals are agreed in writing before handover. The manufacturer ProseQ gives a 2-year warranty on the hardware.
